While looking over my 30th anniversary kit I just picked up a month ago, I was checking out the nice decal sheet. I noticed some spelling errors on some pilot names, well--the spelling for ranks. Jolly and Greenbean are listed as Flight "Sargents," while it should be spelled "Seargent." I sent a message to Revell to see if they ever caught this and reissued proper decals. I just got a message back from Angie at Revell, and she hinted that those kits may be brought back due to the high demand and the fact that they flew off the shelves. She's passing the info over to the graphics department for correction. So, hopefully we'll see these kits again...

I originally saw these at the MIM site and was interested in getting one but they are sold out there. I did some searching and cant seem to find one anywhere else either. I hope they do bring them back.

I found one at a local hobby shop. I also just ordered another and a Cylon Raider from a seller on Bonanza.com Luckily for me--I have blank decal sheets to make my own graphics. I use these when building effects pedals, but I'm going to make my own "Spectre Blackstar" viper.

That's good news for sure! The classic Monogram Viper is my favorite off-the-shelf model kit of all time, and the improved version was just spectactular! I'd love to get a few more of them.

I am interested but if you are bidding it's no problem. I am sure another will come along. I will keep my eyes open. After my fiasco with the helmet Im not sure I am gonna want to do any modeling anytime soon.

Whats the average price on these? MIM was selling for $29.99. The typical 30th Anniversary Viper (the one with a cockpit) goes for $30+ shipping these days. $40 tops. The older ones can be snagged on Ebay for around $20-25. But you have to build your own cockpit. It's actually not that difficult.
