Hey crew, I'm finally (trying) to set up my personal avatar image, but the forums won't let me. In the avatar pull-donw menu, I have "None" and a preset. If I pick none, and enter the location of my avatar - nothing. Almost the same if I pick the single preset avatar - I get that preset, even if I overwrite that preset's web location with my own.
I also tried setting dimensions, and even making a smaller version to fit within the 100x100 rules.
Am i missing something somewhere?

Nope, still not working. That image you saw is the default option. I am linking to my image on my own (google) site.

Woohoo! Thanks boss! So, how did you get it to work? Looks like it is still linking from my site. I'm quite computer competant, so I'm sure I didn't miss anything.

I didn't do anything special, just plugged the url into the avatar area and set the size. Take a look at the settings, make sure you were putting the url in the right spot. Another problem might have been having a space in there itg could have thrown off something.
