Here's that Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 head I got for review that I told you about. I've only had a chance to briefly play with it, but preliminary impression is that it SCREAMS!!! Plugged in dry--it has enough gain to please not only us 80s shred maniacs, but also thrash fanatics. I then juiced it with one of my self-modified OD pedals and was floored. It also has one of the best clean channels I've heard. This is NOT a one trick pony at all. Once I get my full review done, I'll kick you the video clips. On top of the killer tone--it looks cool with those blue LEDs. This is by far the favorite of my low watt tube head collection. ...and the necessary obligatory "Shock and Awe" wall of tube heads photo...lol.

I really want one of those Jet City amps. I love the boutique design! Something about the two tone blue on black just oozes class! Plus, I can't afford and actual "Soldano". lol
