been discussing this on a few forms now and I'm more worried then excited. The Hi Def format will make the show look like CRAP if they do not tweek the effects. You will see all the composite lines and possibly even the model mounts from filming.

They need to work on this before releasing it. Lords Help us!!

I checked 3 local stores today--none have it.
called Best Buy that's 30 minutes out--bought over the phone and going over to pick it up in 5 minutes.

Our Blackstar banner is white vinyl backed, so it will double as my projection screen at Galacticon.

Watching this Blu-Ray right now.
Believe me--it's a real treat!
The HD remastering is very good. Picture is crisp.
The composite shots are not bad...as we thought they'd be.

The detail is simply stunning! You can really tell the warrior insignia pins were painted black in the inserts.
you can also tell that the council chairs during the president's intro speech are two-tone...never noticed before.
Best $15.00 I've spent in years...

Apollo's insignia has black inserts.
Starbuck's has blue.
Bridge personnel in tans wear jackboots...

How's this for how it's selling. I just read that Universal is going to be making the DVD available for a general release on August 6th!! It has done so well in its limited Best Buy release that they are going ahead for a full release everywhere!

This bodes well for a possible entire series on BluRay in the future...

Can't find it...they must have cleaned it up.
