Many thanks for the help, Spectre! I have only just found this board and I am liking what I see so far. It may be a while before I start assembling the tans and the jacket but it looks like I found the right place to learn more about the uniform!
As a result of my rekindled interest, my wife and I have started talking about the possibility of attending Galacticon 4 next year. I'm hoping to get us both kitted up before then!
I also started a thread for those that might want to fly a Viper in FSX. If anyone has any questions, I'm your man!

Robert (Spectre), you've been stellar in getting us newbies up and running, my humble thanks.

G4 will be a defining moment in the history of 'all things Galactica'.
As I announced the uber-awesome Sharp 5804 auction to folks here (KUDO'S to Tom to grabbin' it for only $40 shipped) and Tom providing links to the SIDI auctions, I'm proud of the vibrant 'real-time' camaraderie in helping each other get their uniforms up-to-standard.
To use the terran phrase, 'one team, one fight'.

"How do you overplay starvation?"
--Apollo, then a captain.
That should suffice to convey the idea.
There may not be enough resources to distribute evenly should our numbers rise too high.

Thanks Spectre, Monolith21 & Reaper for being there and I'm sure I'm missing a couple, and thanks to the other new recruits. Back in 2000 I was a member of the Battlestar Callisto and had a lot of fun there and realized I missed talking to other Galacticans so I happy to have found this group.
