I'm not a fan of those buckles, but I don't question the quality of the workmanship. They're trying very hard to replicate the full bores, all the details are there, but the profile of the boot is lacking something significant.

Is it too thin or too tall?

In my eyes, the basic underlying pattern shape is wrong. Like they started with a regular straight shank boot and added the details on top. Full bores have a thinner sole, are far more fitted at the ankle, and flare to fit the calf area. And the toes on full bores are far more streamlined in profile than regular boots. And the buckles are about as far off as they can be, stylistically. But like I said, I don't doubt that these are extremely good quality boots. I'd just look a little harder for some real or replica Sidi boots before I'd invest in these.

Size 10 vintage SIDI full bores were just on eBay for $150..... I was lucky enough to grab a great condition vintage set (size 12) the week prior for only $275 shipped.
