Hello, Something that has profoundly made an impact on myself and many others... I uploaded a couple of videos I have in my TOS Collection. Is not to thwart any copyright at all, but fans should have a look I think. Something many may have seen, maybe not..but they are good videos to watch in any case. Glen Larson on Making BSG www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLFsmlAKGAUUniversal Home Video Documentary (2003) www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbASMFi3chkMany of the things discussed in these videos confirms I am not alone in how I see and think and feel about the content of the series, and most of all, the possibilities. One of the key things about BSG back in 1978 that got me most, they were coming here. twas the brilliant idea of having these advanced refugees coming to earth, instead of leaving the earth. A battlestar showing up would be a shocker to say the least. Must See Video for any fans... :IL: Best and Regards and to all who have passed, may they be remembered Randal R.

These audio-visual documentaries most certainly give insights into what "The General" had on his mind when he was, and his associates were, initially translating the surviving source writings of our ancient Legend into perhaps the most common language the people of Earth use. They are also part of the main reason the newer translation of the same writings into the same language, as Ronald D. Moore inaugurated that translation work, has drawn such hostility from us--and part of the main reason the said newer translation of those source writings is ultimately such a failure.

After watching this, I thoroughly enjoyed all the actors/actresses insight and memories of the show. In addition there is an obvious genuineness, respect and love they had for each other. It is a true jewel in the history of television and science-fiction. I feel honored to have been able to watch it, own it and now costume as a colonial viper pilot in memory of Battlestar Galactica.

NBSG for me was not really BSG, but a remake with twist and spin on the original. it was a good show, no question about that, it just was not what BSG was and meant to the first watchers. Nbsg had an Isamov like AI Rogue that was made by humans in the past: and then made again in the future yada yada:,and it was more human drama, and did not go into some of the things Larson did. The story never really added up to me, the timeline, events, occurrences, ending,Six and Baltar...I just dint get it I guess,or was expecting something else. Example of a similar misdirection I think on a game>XCOM Enemy unknown, built on the Unreal Tournament Engine,(old for when released).Had no strategy,no replay value, and 1 to 15 man squad is now 3-5.It changed the nature of the game to fit it's engine. @viperstorm Hell yeah!.Me too. even in 2003,Sheba (Anne Lockhart) still has that cute girlishness about her.
