I just dug up an old thumb drive containing some graphics I did long ago. Use them...Im giving them over to the group! i did as many of the wall sigils from the Officer's Club as I could discern. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, it looks like i need to re-save all the images in a different color mode in order for them to display properly here.
Ugh.
No worries... I'll get them up soon as possible!

wow..having troubles with the image uploader. I'll try a few more times. otherwise, I'll get back to the uploading a little later. And this is an accurate rendering taken from the studio med-tech patch in my collection.

This is an accurate rendering of the Atlantia insert patch that got stuck on over the Galactica patch for the premiere.

Have you any images of the neophrons adorning the Galactica-specific helmets of Colonial Warriors? I have been seeking those images for a LONG while, and my failure to find them has frustrated both me AND Sire Reaper, since I have bothered HIM about it without wishing to, and I am at the end of my OWN wits on the subject!

Are you talking about the helmet crests? As far as I know, there are only two "production" official crests. The eagle for the Galactica and the winged horse for the Pegasus.
Everything else is speculation or vague costumer notes. I recall seeing ONE very poor photo (probably scanned from a Polaroid) of a cobra-styled crest sculpture that was rejected. Other than that, I have been told (so taking everything after this with a large grain of salt) that there was a crest concept for the proposed Battlestar Prometheus that was a hand bearing a torch. That's what I can recall.
There is plenty of reference to Battlestar pilot arm patches...most of which were notes from the costumer Jean Pierre Dorleac...(again, I'm getting this info second hand so take it with a grain of turbo-salt) and every one of them was a re-purposed REAL military patch. If you watch The Lost Warrior carefully, you'll see a patch on the battlejacket Bella carries into the room that belonged to her husband Martin. Its a military patch (I forget the designation). No Battlestar is mentioned in the dialogue, but *might* be mentioned in the script directions. I don't know for certain. And there are others. I can dig up some info if you like.
If anyone tries to tell you that there are "official" crest designs for all the battlestar's flight wings, they are mistaken. Or trying to push fan-made designs that are not "canon".
Unless they needed it for the production, the studio didn't spend tons of money developing stuff that didn't make it to film. This was all before the huge aftermarket of "the making of" art books and behind-the-scenes merchandising. Even the "official Battlestar Galactica blueprints" are repurposed studio drawings that may or may not be accurate.

My reference was indeed to the helmet crests. However, I do NOT refer to the birds on Galactica-specific Colonial Warrior helmets as "eagles," for no such bird existed amongst the avian life of the Colonies. THOSE birds are, as far as I have been able to gather, indigenous to Earth, where I am now stationed.
No, unless I am very much mistaken, the birds on helmet crests for Galactica-specific Colonial Warrior helmets are neophrons, NOT eagles.
I will stand corrected and apologize for my error if I am very much mistaken.

Sorry, Colonel. I operate in an "out of universe" mode of dialogue. Take from it what you will and ignore the rest. Which makes me wonder why you didn't correct me on "horse" versus "Equis".

I'd love to get a med tech patch made. I haven't really seen a replica made of that costume yet.

If someone has a source for cheap patches, or more precisely, good patches made cheaply, I can provide detailed photos of my studio patch for reference. The artwork I put above is taken directly referencing my patch.

Having FINALLY designed a logo for Neophron Flight, I am now posting the same.
What do you think, SpcGlider?

The design shows a neophron rising from the Sri Yantra (as it is called on Earth) like a phoenix, and also clutching the Sri Yantra in its claws.
It is intended to become the Neophron Flight logo, and does not have any other true shipboard function. As shown, it is of my own design, as I noted earlier.

Perhaps if the neophron is representing a Phoenix, you might consider the artistic application of some flame elements? Something subtle.

Your suggestion may work. I will revise my design accordingly and submit its revision for approval too.

This is tne revision.
It includes rather subtle flames, as you suggested, again hinting at the phoenix aspect.
I fear the flames may resemble horns, which was not my intent.

Has anyone tried downloading my images? I'm curious if they are even useable...
