Longshot--the forum settings cut off pictures at the right. You'll get a little bit of it cut off, that's natural. I just took a screenshot for the Colonel to show him what I see.

I had to join postimage.org. Upload my picture, don't resize it. Choose "Hotline for forums 2" Click "Copy to Clipboard" Under EDIT SETTING and the "PERSONAL" tab, Right mouse click, Past to past link in Signature box Click preview to see if it worked it may have the words " photo hosting sites" in blue under the banner. To delete the words ( photo hosting sites) that appear at the the banner, go to the last line of copy for the link you just pasted and delete the words " photo hosting sites" and only those words, leave the rest of the link. Click preview and if that works click "Save Personal Settings" at the bottom of the edit boxes.

Here are your banners, fellas! Rocket--I couldn't do yours. I have no idea what flight you're in, and your profile lists no geographical data yo go by. Whoops, I'll have to check my profile later. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada so I imagine that would put me in Arrow Flight. I left a post in that area by way of introduction but there hasn't been any other activity there. Your initial posting about the banners mentioned the option to have both the Blackstar and Galactica badges represented, that would be my preference please. Thanks very much for your help with the banner, it really is a nice look!

Thanks Tom, will try that now. Robert had me use Chrome instead of IE9, but no difference.. I wonder if I should still be using this 9600 baud modem...

I still use Photobucket with no issues. Just copy/paste the full IMG tag. Not the thumbnail, direct, HTML or email--the IMG code. FRACK--this was soooooo much easier when I could just do it for everyone....grrrrrrr Rocket--will get on yours shortly

Nope, Tom I followed your instructions. I pasted the code from the 'Hotline (2)' field directly into my signature box (removing the last line), and all I got was black, nothing. I'll keep retrying.
One note: my banner did show up 'cut off again' in postimage, but once I clicked on it to preview, it was fine. It just won't paste into the signature field under my profile (code pastes in fine, but nothing shows on screen..) I tried this using both IE9 and Chrome.
I'll monkey with it some more, nothing on television tonight.

I did go through each link on that page and copied and pasted and clicked preview till it worked but when it did it had the 3 words in blue that I had to delete FROM that last line, do not delete the last line just the 3 words! I can't remember what they were.

ah... ok now, this is starting to sound like a classic riddle..
"How many warriors does it take to post a banner..?"
I'll tinker more.

I tried posting the actual code (even as an image..), that's ending up goofy as well.
The words 'host image' show up, so I deleted just the text 'host image' (removing it..), but still blank, no banner. Odd.
No worries, I'll try more tomorrow. Thanks for all the help, fine gentlemen.

Rob that's quite a tutorial.. I'll work on it tomorrow. Plus you still recommend Chrome over IE9...?
Didn't think it would be all this hard, but thanks for all the hard work, sir. And I'm even an MCSE.
