Oh yes very simple. Now as for this sewing business...if patterns due turn up I'd be curious to see what kind of work is required as I myself am not a fan of intense sewing procedures LOL. For this kind of stuff I'm more interested in having someone else make em. LOL. no worries there, I'm hoping to get alot of people with sewing skills coming aboard. If nothing else, you can always do the civilian colthes, they were always very simple looking. But above all else, make yourself at home!

Hi my name is Gina, I have been a very long time fan of the classic BSG, it took me a great while to even watch the new BSG when I found out that Starbuck was a woman and Boomer was a cylon. It just messed with my memories as a kid. I have currently been with the 501st for only 1 full year officaly but have enjoyed costuming long enough to drive my mother crazy as a kid. She started makeing me make my own costumes. Currently I am working on a new BSG costume but have had the classic BSg on my list for some time.

heh - wow u guys keepin a close eye on new recruits. hey guys - Nathan from England signing up. I use the same login name on various other costuming/prop sites. wot can I say - child of the 70s, sci fi geek. I love em all. list includes - Original BSG, new BSG, Star Trek, SW, Firefly, B5. my collection is very SW centric; but I must admit I am starting to expand it to include much more. I also play at scratch building stuff; nothign serious... but I enjoy it. Not colonial I know - but been foolin around with this: the only other prop replica i have is the Galactica helmet symbol. I would love to eventually get together a complete colonial warrior costume. catch u guys around! Nate

Thanks for the welcome. My name is Dave. I've been a big fan of the original BG. Two things I wanted as a kid was a Cylon and a Stormtrooper costume. Never in my wildest dream would I think that I would own both costumes. I belong to the 501st and the Rebel Legion. I mainly collect Star Wars and Star Trek stuff and a bit of other Sci-fi stuff. I wasn't a costumer until 2003 going to Vegas look for the TOS Star Trek costume. Was disappointed that I didn't find what I was looking for but came home and was told to check out Ebay. Didn't know what it was at the time but know it all to well now *lol*. I think its awesome that you guys have started an OS BG group. I've been thinking about doing a Colonial Warrior costume but will have to wait for a bit as I've got a couple of other costumes on the go and props to buy. Here's a pic of me in my Cylon costume. I've been called a "Shinny Robot" and have been asked if I could show them my lightsaber (Cylon sword) *lol*. I live in Alberta, Canada and have never seen another cylon in person but did see a Colonial Warrior in one convention many years ago.

Salutations my fellow Warriors!
My name is Tony and I have been a huge fan of BSG since the first night it aired.
Two months later I had a full Warrior Battle Uniform which included the boots as I recognised them right away.
Also a big Star Trek fan and have worked many Trek Cons in the dealer room.
If you were ever at a Trek Con in the washington D.C. area and saw a Colonial in his battle gear that was me. :lol
Nice to have a BSG board and it's good to be here.
A fumirrilio and glass of Ambrosia to Reaper for helping me get on here!
Thanks Ed!!

Wow, multiplying like crazy. Awesome to see you here people. Heatshock, that looks like it going to be an interesting Cylon helmet build up. I'd really like to see where you go with that. Dave, you have me dribbling with envy mate. I so want that costume!!! Old Warrior, I'd say you 'd probably have the record for owning a Colonial Warrior costume the longest. Great to see so many new faces. First round of Ambrosia is on me folks. Now do we have a bar here?

A friendly nice hello from germany,
so I hope everyone in here is well and I´m more than happy to be with you all here. I came overe here from the RPF and I´m also a big Galactica fan since I was a child. Besides a lot of other suits and costumes I´m also working on a Galactica warrior suit in the moment and I hope to have it complete in about 2 month.
Greetings Guido
